Your QE plan, month by month
Choose his school year and what your family can keep up. Short, regular sessions beat long weekend blocks, and a missed day costs nothing.
3 sessions of 20 minutes a week is about 4.5 hours a month. Test expected September 2027, for Year 7 in 2028. QE has not published that date yet.

Foundations
Work through the English and Maths lessons in order, alternating subjects. Each lesson ends on harder questions: note the ones he gets wrong.
- March 2027to May 2027
Exam level
Lessons in one session a week, practice topics in the others. Revisit any topic below about four in five correct.
- June 2027to July 2027
Stretch and pace
Harder multi-step questions and timed practice at our one-minute practice pace, with answers on a separate grid. QE does not publish its timing.

Mocks
A full timed mock every other week, online or printed. After each one, fix the three weakest topics before the next.
Missed a session? Nothing resets and nothing is lost. Aim for 3 sessions a week, not a daily streak.
